Description
Everything in the Check suite, plus lead, copper, nitrate and boron. This is our pick for a private well, where nitrate from slurry, fertiliser and septic tanks is a real concern, and for older houses that may still have lead pipes. It covers every test we need to specify well water treatment: iron, manganese, hardness, pH, nitrate and bacteria.
What it tests
- Bacteria: E. coli, total coliforms, enterococci, total bacteria count at 22°C
- Metals: aluminium, iron, manganese, lead, copper, boron
- Chemistry: nitrate, nitrite, ammonia, hardness (limescale), pH, conductivity
- Appearance: colour, turbidity (cloudiness)
