Compatibility
Designed for use with QETTLE boiling/filtered water taps that specify the Q08 cartridge format. Not a full tap, boiler or tank - this is a replacement filter.
How to Replace (Quick Steps)
- Turn off the filter feed under the sink.
- Depressurise by opening the filtered-water outlet for a few seconds.
- Twist/remove the old cartridge; fit the new Q08 firmly into place.
- Turn the filter feed back on and flush for 3–5 minutes.
- Check for drips, wipe down, and you’re done.
When Should I Replace It?
- Typically every 6–12 months depending on usage and local water quality
- Sooner if you notice taste/odour returning or reduced flow
Tip: Set a reminder on your phone/calendar when you install a new cartridge.

Is this the correct cartridge for my QETTLE tap?
Check your tap’s manual/label for the required cartridge. If it specifies Q08, this is the correct replacement. Not sure? Ask EcoFilter.
Do I need any tools?
Usually no special tools are needed - just access to the under-sink housing and the ability to turn the filter feed off/on. We can fit it for you if you prefer.
Do I have to flush it after fitting?
Yes - always run the filtered outlet for 3–5 minutes to clear air and loose carbon fines for best taste.
Can EcoFilter service my whole tap system?
