Warranty

At EcoFilter Ireland we stand behind every product we sell. Here's what your warranty covers and how to make a claim if you ever need to.

Standard warranty — 1 year

Every product purchased from EcoFilter Ireland is covered by a 1-year warranty from the date of delivery. This applies across our entire range — water softeners, drinking water filter systems, boiling water taps, reverse osmosis systems, replacement filters and accessories.

The 1-year warranty covers parts and labour for any manufacturing defect or component failure under normal use.

Extended warranty — up to 10 years

When EcoFilter Ireland installs your system, you become eligible for an extended warranty of up to 10 years — on one condition:

Your system must be serviced by EcoFilter Ireland annually, on schedule.

Each year that you keep your annual service with us, your warranty extends — up to a maximum of 10 years from installation. If a scheduled service is missed, the extended warranty reverts to standard 1-year cover.

This is our long-term care offer for customers who let our team handle the full lifecycle of their water treatment system. To arrange or check your annual service, just give us a call.

What voids your warranty

There are two situations where your warranty will no longer apply:

  1. DIY installation. If the system is installed by anyone other than EcoFilter Ireland or an EcoFilter-approved installer, the warranty does not apply.
  2. Third-party interference after installation. Once we've installed a system, any modification, repair or alteration carried out by anyone other than EcoFilter Ireland will void the warranty from that point forward.

Making a warranty claim

If you think something's covered, the fastest way to sort it is to call us. We'll talk you through the next steps — usually a visit, an exchange or a part replacement, depending on what's needed.

Returns

If you'd like to return an unused product rather than make a warranty claim, please see our Returns Policy for full details.

Your statutory rights

This warranty is offered in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights as a consumer under Irish and EU law — including the Consumer Rights Act 2022 and the Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act 1980. Nothing on this page limits your right to seek a repair, replacement, refund or other remedy where required by law. If you have questions about how this warranty sits alongside your statutory rights, give us a call and we'll talk you through it.
